CL-E720
The CL-E720 from Citizen is a direct thermal industrial label printer. It is used on production lines and in warehouses.
Direct thermal avoids the ribbon and simplifies operation, but the print fades with heat and light. It suits short-life labels.
300 dpi becomes necessary as soon as the label drops below 25 mm or carries a dense DataMatrix. Above that, 203 dpi is enough and costs less in consumables.
6 configurations are available, to be decided on these criteria:
- Connectivity: USB, RS-232
- Resolution: 300 dpi, 200 dpi
- Variants: Series Peeler, Serial Interface card for series, Series, Thermal Printhead 300 dpi
Common to the whole range: colour Black.
