Android mobile computers

The Android mobile computer is the working tool of the picker, the storeman and the driver. It carries a professional scan engine, a battery that lasts the shift and a case that survives drops.

What the choice comes down to:

• Android version and committed update window, critical on a five-year fleet
• Scan engine: short range for picking, extended range for racking
• Battery life across a full shift, and whether it is hot-swappable

The most overlooked criterion is software support duration. A terminal that stops receiving Android patches becomes a security problem before it becomes a hardware problem.

For a multi-station project, ask us for a study: we price the hardware, the consumables and the maintenance.
