Open frame touchscreens

An open frame display ships without a housing, designed to be built into a kiosk, a cabinet or a machine. The host chassis acts as the enclosure.

The points to look at before choosing:

• Cutout pattern and mounting depth, constrained by the cabinet
• Anti-glare treatment, decisive for a screen behind glass
• Model availability window, so units can be replaced like for like

Across a kiosk estate, check the model's commercial lifespan before selecting it. A display withdrawn after a year means redesigning the cutout at every replacement.
