Entry-level card printers

These card printers suit moderate volumes: visitor badges, membership cards, access badges for a small company. Single or dual-sided printing, no lamination.

• Single or dual-sided printing, to decide before buying since it cannot be added later
• Supported monthly volume, typically a few hundred cards
• Magnetic or contactless encoding, optional on most models

If your badges double as access credentials, plan the encoder at purchase. Adding it later usually means changing printer.
